Kids these days have a ton of options to choose from when it comes to plush toys. There are plush Care Bears, Disney, Family Guy, Simpsons, Webkinz and many more toys for kids and all ages. The most popular theme for these toys is clearly animals.
I've walked into adult rooms and seen upwards of 20 teddy bears. It's always a bit odd to see such a large collection of children's toys in an adult room, but these days it's becoming more popular. Everyone wants to hold on to their childhood, so why not keep your favorite bears with you at all times.
Sesame Street is a hit with the 2 year old to 5 year old cohort. Kids this age love to play with Oscar, Elmo, Big Bird, Snuffalufagus, the Count and Cookie Monster (though Cookie Monster might not be the best role model).
Ty is an extremely popular plush toy manufacturer and their introduction of Beanie Babies on the market a few has created a craze that can't be stopped. Check out eBay sometime and you will see that all ages are buying Beanie Babies up by the truck load!
The first time I saw Cars with my 5 year-old, I knew I'd be on eBay the next day getting the latest plush toy cars so he could enjoy them at home. There is something special about getting a keepsake like a toy from a movie you just raved about and want to share with your friends.
Care Bears are timeless toys - many people have Grumpy, Glitter, Glow and even the 25th anniversary bear. Care Bears can bring a smile to even the most grumpy adult - give one to your kid and they will thank you for sure.
Webkinz are extremely popular - there are so many shapes, sizes and clothes to collect, these have become a must have for the 6-12 year olds. With the online world, you can purchase your Reindeer, Frog, or poodle Webkinz and then get the same toy in the online world when you enter the code.
TV shows have created their own merchandise and the Backyardigans have joined that crazy lately. These animals are revered by kids everywhere and they are just soo cute!
