You could let them take their airsoft guns out in the woods and practice shooting at moving targets such as squirrels or birds. These things can help them improve their shot as they try to bring home their first deer or game hen. They will need this experience as the deer season approaches.
When they have built up some experience with the airsoft guns in the woods, they will be set to bring home the big buck for sure. They will be pumped up and ready to go the first day of the season. If they are the first one to bring home a deer, congratulate them for sure and do not be angry if they got one before you did.
Beginning hunters will agree that the airsoft guns are the right choice for the training. Not only are they light weight, they are also very safe to shoot, especially by someone who is not that familiar with a gun. If someone was to accidentally get hit with one of the bbs, they would certainly have a bruise but would not break the skin in most cases.
As your children or grandchildren approach the age that they are ready to be trained to hunt, airsoft guns are the perfect gun to start them on. They will be ready to take on the woods very quickly and you will feel more comfortable when they upgrade a gun with live ammunition.
